Hey chocolate lovers! I'm Ruth Wakefield! Cool name, right? I wrote a rap about it, but it's 4 1/2 hours long so..... here's my webpage!
I was born on June 17, 1903. (Best day EVER!)
I think I died on January 10, 1977, age 74. (Worst day ever. :-( )
I was educated at Framingham State Normal School- Department of Household Arts. (Long name!)
I lived around the time of the Great Depression. Kinda depressing, don't you think? I had seven kids with my husbands, Fredrick and Stephen: Mary, Fredrick, Ezekiel, Ruth, Emily, Louisa and Hannah Wakefield. Two boys, five girls, two different husbands, me- imagine making dinner for ten!
My mother was named Ruth too, and my father was named Fredrick, which was the name of mu husband.
While I was alive, The Star-Spangled Banner, by Francis Scott Key, was approved by President Hoover and Congress as the national anthem. I'd say that's kinda cool!
Yeah, that's it in a nutshell, or more precisely, chocolate chip!
