Empty Bowl Project Dinner -

will be held Thursday, November 29th at 5:30-7:00 in the LHS Cafeteria. Empty Bowls is a worldwide grassroots initiative that is designed to help end hunger in our communities. Artists, craftspeople, students make handmade bowls and sell them for a donation (in our case $15) to a local food charity. Guests enjoy a simple meal of soup and bread and bring home their empty bowl as a reminder of all the empty bowls in the world. Our dinner will benefit The Open Pantry's Holiday Meal Program. If you are interested in helping you can do so by attending Empty Bowls, buying a bowl after the dinner if there are any leftover, contributing chicken broth, tomato soup or any kind of bread days before the event, or thanking a Sculpture or 3D student for their hard work on this project
