Cost Cutters is partnering with the Siouxland Autism Support Group
 to raise awareness and funds to help families in Siouxland.
1 in every 68 children is diagnosed with ASD.  Autism Spectrum disorder
is a neurological disorder that affects their communication and social skills
 in varying degrees.

Help us fill their windows with puzzle pieces by
supporting  Autism and donating a $1 

 Money raised stays in the Siouxland area.

What a great day we had.  We want to thank WIT for allowing us the use of their wonderful facility for our event.  The families and friends that participated had a great time and the volunteers from WIT were awesome.  Also thanks to Sneaky's for bringing out a great meal for us.

The University of Iowa Children’s Hospital Autism Center will be continuing its Family Workshop Series in April, starting with a presentation by Suzanne Bartlett, MD., entitled “Caregiver Wellness and Stress Reduction Techniques”. In May, Jacob Michaelson, PhD. will be presenting “Understanding Autism Through the Lens of Genetics”.

The presentations are free and may be attended in person at the Center for Disabilities and Development in Iowa City, or via webinar.
