Conference  - 3rd period (10:45am - 11:30am)

My name is Melissa Hardaway.  I am the UIL speech and debate coach, UIL Academic Co-Coordinator, and the Senior Class Sponsor at Lockhart High School. This is my 10th year teaching (8th year at Lockhart High School) and I can't imagine myself with any other career! I can't wait to start every new year with this great group of co-workers and students.

I am originally from Louisiana. I received my Bachelor's degree in Speech Education from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA.  I taught for two years in Shreveport and then I received my Master's degree in Communication Studies from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.

This school year I will be teaching Professional Communication, Psychology (Fall), Classical Films (Spring),  and Debate I, II, and III.  I look forward to meeting all of my students and their parents!  Please do not hesitate to call or email me with any questions or comments.
