Get to Know Your Teacher

Welcome to the 2017 – 2018 school year at Harloe! It is with great pleasure that I introduce myself as your fifth grade teacher. To become better acquainted, I’d like to share a few things about myself. I’m from a beautiful place in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan called Grand Marais. It was there along the shores of Lake Superior where I picked up the hobbies of agate picking, beach running, cross-country skiing, and road biking. I obtained my degree from Northern Michigan University, previously taught kindergarten, first grade and second grade. This is my second year as a fifth grade teacher and I'm more excited than ever!

I’m an adventure seeker, animal lover, and coffee enthusiast, but most of all, I’m a teacher.  I’m overjoyed to share my passion for learning with the young minds of the future!
