Hicham EL-Hage was born in Lebanon. He received B.A.Sc. Honors in Civil Engineering in 1994, M.A.Sc in Mechanical Engineering in 2000, and Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2004 from University of Windsor, Windsor, Ontario, Canada. He worked for reputable international corporations. His last industrial assignment was at Msx International (Ford Motor Co.), Dearborn MI, USA, where crashworthiness for automotive applications had been performed using Finite Element Methods.  He has held an Assistant Professor position at the Lebanese International University (LIU), School of Engineering; Mechanical Engineering Department since 2004. In 2009, he was promoted to an Associate Professor. Then, in 2014, He was promoted to a full Professor. He was the Dean of School of Engineering, at LIU, until 2013. Currently, He is the Director of Quality Assurance, Institutional Effectiveness and Accreditation (QAIEA) Office at LIU.  His research interest covers Computational Solid and Fluid Mechanics, mainly, Analysis of Vehicle Structures, Explosion Resistant Structures and Crush Behavior of Materials, Fatigue and Dynamic Analysis of Advanced Composite Materials, Heat Exchangers Modeling and Control, Renewable Energy and Energy Management, and Underhood Aerothermal Management. He has more than forty peer-reviewed Conferences & Journals papers
