Hassan Bazzi was born in Bent Jbeil, Lebanon, in 1975. He received the MSc degree in High Frequency Electronics and Optoelectronic from University of Limoges, France 1998, and Ph.D. degrees in High Frequency Electronics and Optoelectronics from "Institut de Recheche en Communication Optique et Microondes" (IRCOM), University of Limoges – France, in 2003. In 2004, he joined the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Lebanese International University (LIU), as an Assistant Professor. In October 2012, he has been assigned as a chairperson of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at LIU, became Associate Professor in 2012, and ranked as professor in 2018. Since September 2017, he is the Associate Director of Quality Assurance and Institutional Effectiveness and Accreditation (QAIEA) and he is international Certified Academic Program Assessor (CAPA) at the Association of Arab Universities (AArU), His current research interests include: Design and realization of LNA on SiGe BiCMOS technology. High contribution for testing and design techniques using balanced differential structure using this technology; Development and Design of Differential active filter at microwave frequencies using SiGe BiCMOS Technologies, development of new techniques of calculation and measurement of Differential S-Parameter.
