Dr. Mohamad Y. Abou Shahine is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the Lebanese International University.

Dr. Abou Shahine received his B.E. degree in Communications and Electronics Engineering from Beirut Arab University (BAU) in July 2010. He received his M.E. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the American University of Beirut (AUB) in August 2012. In December 2015, he received his PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from AUB, with a concentration on Applied Electromagnetics, RF Systems, and Communications Engineering. His research interests include the design of antennas, power amplifiers, filters, wireless communications networks, and investigating the efficiency of PV systems, in addition to engineering education. He has several publications in international refereed journals and conference proceedings, and serves as a reviewer for several prominent publications. Dr. Abou Shahine is a dedicated mentor, having supervised numerous students in senior projects, master's theses, and Ph.D. programs.
