Dr. Bakri ABDULHAY is an Assistant Professor in the School of Engineering  Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Lebanese International University.

Dr. ABDULHAY received his Engineering Diplomat in 2006 from the Lebanese University, faculty of Engineering, section I, Tripoli, Lebanon. Worked on the flow characterization in the presence of instability due to Gortler vortex for the master’s thesis, and received his M.S. (Master 2 Research) in 2006 from the Ecole Polytechnique of the University of Nantes, France. Worked on the Thermal and Mechanical aspects of the Hot Stamping process in collaboration with ArcelorMittal R&D Paris - France for his Ph.D. thesis, and received his  Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Specialty: Thermal-Energy from the University of Nantes, France in 2009. Worked as an Assistant Professor at the Ecole Polytechnique of the University of Nantes, France between 2009 and 2011. 

Dr. ABDULHAY has a number of refereed journal and conference papers. He also served as a reviewer for:

  • SFT Societe Francaise de la Thermique
Research Interests:
  • Thermal – Energy: Study of thermal and mechanical aspects of processes, HV-AC, Isolation problems…

  • Metallurgy: Microstructure change during quenching (austenite, martensite…), variation of physical properties of material.
