Prof. Amin A. Haj-Ali is the Dean of the School of Engineering and a Professor at the Department of Computer and Communications Engineering - Lebanese International University.

Prof. Amin A. Haj-Ali received his B.E. degree in Computer and Communications Engineering in 1993 from the American University of BeirutBeirut - Lebanon, his M.S. degree in Electronics and Computer Control Systems in 1994, and his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (Systems and Soft Computing) in 2002 from Wayne State UniversityDetroitMI - USA. Prof. Haj-Ali earned a Masters in IT Project Management from George Washington UniversityWashington, DC - USA. 

Since 1996, Prof. Haj-Ali worked in many related engineering fields in both Lebanese and international corporations. His last industrial assignment was at the  DaimlerChrysler* Corporation Scientific Labs and Proving Grounds, Auburn HillsMI - USA where he has co-registered a patent (US07043963B2).

Prof. Haj-Ali has a number of refereed journal and conference papers. He also served as a reviewer for:

  • IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics (B)
  • International Journal of Fuzzy Systems
Prof. Haj-Ali is a senior IEEE member.
