Costa Rica Trip

Welcome students! I've always believed that nature is the best classroom and that learning is done best by participating in tons of fun, hands-on activities. Certainly, you would agree that traveling to Costa Rica fits both of these characteristics.

Often called the "Switzerland of Central America" (since they have no active military), Costa Rica is, without a doubt, one of the most biodiverse, culturally-immersive countries in the world. This beautiful country is bestowed with majestic volcanoes, misty cloud forests, stunning river valleys, and thousands of miles of beaches that line both the Pacific and Caribbean coasts. Even though Costa Rica covers only 0.03% of earth's land mass, it is home to more than half a million plant and animal species. In fact, scientists estimate that this tiny country is actually home to nearly 4% of all the total species on planet earth.
