Download your data
You can export and download your data from the Google products you use, like your email, calendar, and photos. In a few easy steps, create an archive to keep for your records or use the data in another service.
Note: Downloading your data does not delete it from Google’s servers.
Create an archive of your data
First, choose which products to include
- Visit the Download your data page. You might have to sign in to your Google Account.
- Choose which Google products to include in your download. To see more details and options for a product, select the Down arrow
- .
- Select Next.
- Choose your archive's "File type."
Next, choose how your archive is delivered
Depending on the amount of information in your account, this process could take a few minutes or several hours. Most people receive the emailed link to their archive the same day that they request it.
If you want to upload to another Google Account
- On the left, click New (or upload icon)and select Upload Files (or Folders) from the drop-down menu
- Select the file(s) or folder(s) you'd like to upload.
- You’ll see a box that shows the progress of your file upload. Click on the file name to open the file or close the box by clicking the X in the upper right corner.
