  1. Flex Academy Update: Lead Teacher Kent Swanson will be in attendance to update the Board regarding school activities since our last meeting on March 5.

  1. Little Chute Career Pathways Academy Update: Lead Teacher Shawn Volk will be in attendance to update us about school activities at Little Chute Career Pathways Academy.

  1. Update on rollout of Extracurricular Code and Eligibility requirements:

  2. LCCPA Strategic Plan Update: Career Pathways Principal Tony Bird and Lead Teacher Shawn Volk will present the updated Strategic Plan. Attached for your review is a link to the draft.

  1. Council Member Recruitment: I will provide you a summary of applications received for the three open seats by departing members Rick Dercks, Mike Vander Zanden and Anita Vanden Burgt, beginning with the 2018-19 school year. Application materials were due by Friday, April 13th. The Board will review materials at the May 7th meeting.

  1. Blueprint for Brilliance: The Board of Education has approved the District’s new Blueprint for Brilliance Plan through the 2020-2021 school year. Blueprint goals identified focus on curriculum/instruction, professional development and health and wellness.  The overall driving force behind the Plan is once again improving student achievement. With a purposeful and measurable approach, the Blueprint outlines continuous academic, social and emotional improvement for all students. The Blueprint for Brilliance is posted on the district website, and also found at this link.

  1. Building Project Update: I will provide an update about the state of the building project.

  1. Financial Reports - Board Treasurer Anita Vanden Burgt will give a brief report for March. 

  2. Letter of Resignation, Flex Teacher-Conclusion of 2017-18 School Year: The District is in receipt of Flex Academy Teacher Nikol Waters’ letter of resignation, effective at the end of the 2018-19 school year. The position has been posted.  The Board of Education has already accepted Ms. Waters’ resignation. Please see the link for Ms. Waters’ resignation letter.

  3. May and June Board meeting locations:  During the week of April 23, demolition work is scheduled to begin in the District Office.  Due to limited space to conduct our Board meetings in May and June I would like to recommend that the final two Board meetings of the 2017-18 school year be held at the Flex Academy.

  1. Resignation, at Conclusion of 2017-18 School Year: Administratively, we recommend accepting with regret the resignation of Nikol Waters, effective at the end of the 2017-18 school year.
