    3. Secretary/Treasurer. This seat was held by Tim Zautcke, whose second term concluded last school year. The new treasurer will be asked to be an authorized signatory on our charter schools’ checking accounts at Unison Credit Union. Former Treasurer Tim Zautcke has volunteered to accompany this person to the credit union to do the necessary paperwork, if necessary.  The Secretary/Treasurer also presents a very brief monthly financial report, which is prepared by the District Business Office.

  2. Building Project Update: I will provide you an update of the Preliminary Project Schedule. Bid Package #1 encompassing footings, foundation, and masonry was sent out last week. We anticipate breaking ground for the new addition (Library and shared office space) in late October.

  3. Update from Flex Academy and Little Chute Career Pathways Academy - Start of School 2017-18: Lead Teacher Kent Swanson at the Flex Academy and Lead Teacher Shawn Volk from Career Pathways will give us an update to the start of the 2017-18  school year.

Similar to last year,  Business Manager Karen Moore will provide a more detailed update in November (and April) regarding the larger picture including salary, benefits and student numbers data.

  2. Review of Board Member Tenure: At the end of this 2017-18 school year, Rick Dercks and Mike VanderZanden will be concluding their second (and final, per by-laws) terms. Members Anita VanderBurgt and Mandi Dornfeld will be finishing the third year of their first terms, and will be invited to submit a letter of interest in serving a second three-year term.
