As required, the Education for Employment Plans and Program, including the district’s Academic and Career Plan (ACP), will be presented for school board approval. Laura McCormick and members of the ACP Committee will be present to share the three-year plan.

  4. 345.6 Rule 4 High School Credit in Middle School - Review: At our last meeting on July 17, we reviewed the proposed Rule for Policy 345.6 High School Credit in Middle School. To receive (elective) credit the math or science classes must be taught by a high school-certified teacher using the same curriculum and assessments as the high school level credit. The student must be a seventh or eighth grader. There was discussion around the issue of computing the grade into the cumulative grade point average. The draft rule has been amended to reflect that the earned grade would not be calculated into the student’s cumulative grade point average.
