Join us at the Huntsville Library as Carl Gordy discusses his poetry, his many published works, and his love of Civil War poetry in particular. Enjoy hearing this prominent Randolph County poet discuss his work, the founding of Poetry of America, and how he became The Poet. Everyone is welcome to attend this free event with fabulous refreshments.

To finish our celebration of this Autumn's One Read selection, "The Widow of the South" By: Robert Hicks, you are officially invited to a One Read Tea Party at the Huntsville Public Library. We will discuss this Civil War novel set in Franklin, Tennessee during one of the bloodiest times in our nation's history over tea and croissants.
