Encourage authentic learning

Grading
CLASS - We expect students to be active learners in the classroom and demonstrate learning via formal and informal assessments
-Application activities including maps and Higher Order Thinking Activities
-Discussions that reflect learning
-Research and presentations using online resources
-Assessments (quizzes and tests)
HOMEWORK - learning is a lifelong process
-Discuss the world and learn at home.
-Review the day
-Study for assessments and makeup missing or unfinished work.
