The 2016-2017 yearbook ordering window is still open for everyone to order a yearbook and will be until June 3rd. Parents, students, and staff can order completely online at or by filling out an order form and returning to any school front office. Order forms will be sent home with students and are available at the front office. Checks may be made out to LHS yearbook and payment is due at the time of the order. Personalized yearbooks are also available for additional $5. The 2016-17 yearbook is scheduled to arrive the first week of school in August.

The Giving Nest is ready for use! Students - this store is for anyone in need. It contains hygiene products, clothes, coats, accessories, food and drinks, and school supplies. To access the store just ask Mrs. Orchard to open it for you. Everything is free! Please help spread the word and feel encouraged to use the store! Also, teachers will have boxes to collect donations if you would like to help out!

Students owing over $50.00 in lunch will be served a peanut butter sandwich, fruit, and milk until your bill is below $50.00.

Art Club will meet Thursdays after school from 3:30 - 4:30pm.

Seniors who are planning on attending OTC - there are many OTC Foundation Scholarships that are available.  Stop by the counselor's office for more information or go online



Each year West Plains Council on the Arts awards a $500 Fine Arts scholarship to a graduating high school senior from Ozark or Howell County.   Scholarship forms can be found outside the counselor's office or can also be downloaded from their website.  Details of the scholarship, as well as a downloadable application form, can be found at

There are application fee vouchers located outside the counselor's office.   Seniors who qualify for FRL may use a form to avoid paying application fees.  
Forms must be filled out and turned into the counselor's office along with the transcript request form.
