The school play The Girl in the Mirror will be Friday during school. Don't forget to bring $1 to get in to see the play. It will also be performed Friday and Saturday night at 7 pm. Students will be $3 and adults will be $5 at night.
ByLines members: we will be taking a group picture for the yearbook on Tuesday, May 10th. Meet in Mrs. Fann's room at the beginning of 3rd Lunch. It should only take a few minutes.
Students going on the Silver Dollar City trip Friday, May 6: The bus will be leaving at 7:00 am....be on time! You will arrive at Silver Dollar City at 10 am and leave at 6 pm. You should arrive back at LHS at 9 pm.
Jostens will be in the Gym Lobby Monday, May 9th to deliver class rings during lunch. Personal checks, cash, and money orders will be accepted. Credit or debit card payments must be called into the Jostens' office up to 48 hours before ring delivery.
HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL CHEERLEADING TRYOUTS WILL BE MAY 12 AND 13, 2016. FORMS ARE IN THE OFFICE. TRYOUTS WILL BE HELD IN THE MIDDLE SCHOOL GYM FROM 6:30 TO 7:30 AM. YOU MUST HAVE A PHYSICAL ON FILE WITH THE ATHLETIC DIRECTOR TO TRY OUT. TRYOUT FORMS ARE DUE BY MAY 10TH.
Needing to type a paper, do research or complete online schoolwork but can't do it at home? There will be Open Lab on Tuesdays and Wednesdays until 4:00 in Room 9 (Computer Lab 2).
Book club will meet on Thursdays after school and Friday mornings at 7:30.
Evening alternative will be each Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3:30-6:00. Students can work on alternative credits and make up hours at that time. Sign up with Mr. Orchard if you plan to attend.

Students needing to make up the placement test for the dual credit classes offered through MSU-WP will need to contact the Testing Center at MSU-WP.

Be sure to check the counselor's website for updated college and scholarship information.
Just a reminder that the counselor will be in computer lab 2 every Tuesday after school. Students can receive help filling out the FAFSA, register and practice for the ACT, or fill out college and scholarship applications. This might also be a time that students could work on the computers or make up a test. Please let the counselor know if you plan to attend.Seniors~~ If you plan to attend SBU-MV there is a new scholarship opportunity available to you. The Bolerjack Family Scholarship will be given to a graduating senior from Liberty, Summersville, Winona or Willow Springs school districts. The first student from each district who meets the scholarship guidelines will be awarded $500 for each semester of the 2016-2017 academic year. Please see the counselor for more information.
