Don't forget to register for the April ACT!!  The registration deadline (without late fees) is next Friday, March 3.



 Permission forms for the PEP Club/Cheer Field Trip to SDC are in the office.  Forms must be turned in by March 10.  Late forms will not be accepted.  Do not turn forms in without money!  Any forms turned in without money will not be accepted.





Update: Auditions for Who's Crazy Now? have been moved to today after school in the music room. If you are wanting to look at the audition materials or have questions, see Mr. Smith.



There are Dance Guest Approval Request forms in the office if you are bringing a date to Prom that is not a Liberty High School Junior or Senior. Forms & $25 must be returned to the office by April 19th.




Teachers and Students: If you are going to eat dinner at Prom, there is a sign up sheet in the HS Office. You must be signed up by the end of February.




The Giving Nest is ready for use! Students - this store is for anyone in need. It contains hygiene products, clothes, coats, accessories, food and drinks, and school supplies. To access the store just ask Mrs. Orchard to open it for you. Everything is free! Please help spread the word and feel encouraged to use the store! Also, teachers will have boxes to collect donations if you would like to help out!




Students owing over $50.00 in lunch will be served a peanut butter sandwich, fruit, and milk until your bill is below $50.00.



Art Club will meet Thursdays after school from 3:30 - 4:30pm.




From the Counselor:


Willow Springs High School will once again host the Chad Cargill ACT Workshop.  It will be held on Friday, March 24, 2017 from 9:00-12:00 in the Bears' Den at WSHS.  The cost is the same as the previous years, $30 per student.  Please let the counselor know by March 10 if you would be interested in attending.  


Seniors~  There are two more scholarships that are available!  The Delta Kappa Gamma Scholarship will be given to two senior girls who are planning on going into the teaching profession.  The Southeast Missouri Central Labor Council Scholarship will be given to multiple area seniors.  Applications are available outside the counselor's office and are due March 24, 2017

 Scholarship: 
Each year West Plains Council on the Arts awards a $500 Fine Arts scholarship to a graduating high school senior from Ozark or Howell County.   Scholarship forms can be found outside the counselor's office or can also be downloaded from their website.  Details of the scholarship, as well as a downloadable application form, can be found at http://westplainsarts.org/?page_id=40




There are application fee vouchers located outside the counselor's office.   Seniors who qualify for FRL may use a form to avoid paying application fees.  
Forms must be filled out and turned into the counselor's office along with the transcript request form.
