There will be a Junior Class Prom Meeting on Friday, Dec. 9th at 7:35am in Mrs. Frost's room.


Freshmen - Stop by Mrs. Copen's or Ms. Ipock's room today to vote on a t-shirt design.



All National Honor Society members need to be bringing their toys for the Toys for Tots project. They need to go to Mrs. Price's room.



There will be an FTA meeting on Tuesday, December 6th at 7:45 a.m. in Mrs. Chambers' room.



Students owing over $50.00 in lunch will be served a peanut butter sandwich, fruit, and milk until your bill is below $50.00.



If you would like to support the band program, they have shirts available for purchase.  They are $10 each and they have all sizes available from youth small up to adult 2x.


 

The Junior Class is selling Liberty T-shirts for $15, Long Sleeve shirts for $18, and Hoodies for $25. Extra order forms are in the HS Office. Anyone who pre-ordered a shirt can pick it up in Mrs. Stephens' room.




Art Club will meet Thursdays after school from 3:30 - 4:30pm.




From the Counselor:


Juniors and Seniors~~  Please see the counselor ASAP if you would like to enroll in online dual credit classes for next semester.   There are many classes offered through Drury and MSU-WP.  Course offerings are located outside the counselor's office. 


Students who are interested in enrolling in dual credit classes through Drury will need to see the counselor ASAP.  The spring schedule is available and students would need to be enrolled by December 2.  The dual credit class is offered with Ms. Krasuski during 3rd hour, so schedules will need to be changed.  Please let the counselor know if you are interested or to find out more information. 



Seniors~

NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS


Conservation Foundation of Missouri Scholarship
CFMO offers 5 - $1000 scholarships to high school seniors or undergraduates in different natural resources areas.  Preference will be given to those demonstrating financial need.  Applications must be submitted by December 31.  Information can be found at on the same website, at http://www.moswcs.org/.



 Scholarship: 
Each year West Plains Council on the Arts awards a $500 Fine Arts scholarship to a graduating high school senior from Ozark or Howell County.   Scholarship forms can be found outside the counselor's office or can also be downloaded from their website.  Details of the scholarship, as well as a downloadable application form, can be found at http://westplainsarts.org/?page_id=40




There are application fee vouchers located outside the counselor's office.   Seniors who qualify for FRL may use a form to avoid paying application fees.  
Forms must be filled out and turned into the counselor's office along with the transcript request form.
