Feb. 12th - No School - PDC Teacher In-Service
Feb. 15th - No School - President's Day



Some of the football players and cheerleaders will be going to the elementary tomorrow to assist in an assembly during 1st hour. 



Student Council will have a meeting at 7:45 in Miss Krasuski's room tomorrow morning.



There will be a Tennis Meeting today at 2:00 in the Cafeteria for anyone interested in playing.


Seniors who had picture retakes need to see Ms. Ipock or Mrs. Stoops to check the senior composite picture.




LHS Valentine's Day Delivery Guidelines:

There will be NO SCHOOL on February 12th and February 15th so all Valentine deliveries will be on Thursday, February 11th.

- Students will not be allowed to take any balloons or glass bottles/vases on the bus.
-All deliveries must be made no later than 1:00pm on Thursday, Feb. 11th.
-Deliveries should be made to the stage door through the back parking lot gates. (push the "call" button to be admitted through the gate)
-Students will not receive their deliveries until the end of the school day.



Auditions for the school play, The Girl in the Mirror, will be Thursday, February 18 after school in the High School Music Room. Please see Mr. Smith for audition information.



There are registration forms in the High School Office for the Busy Hands Workshop 5K Color Run/Walk on April 23rd at 2:00pm. Registration includes a t-shirt, color bag, and sunglasses for $25. The deadline for registration is April 8th to receive the Color Run items.



Needing to type a paper, do research or complete online schoolwork but can't do it at home?  There will be Open Lab on Tuesdays and Wednesdays until 4:00 in Room 9 (Computer Lab 2).


ByLines (Liberty's Young Writers Club) meets every Tuesday at 7:30 in Room 33 (Mrs. Fann's room).


Seniors - Check the senior bulletin board in the senior hallway (across from the library) for important dates and reminders. You can also log onto the school website and click on the "senior information" tab.




Book club will meet on Thursdays after school and Friday mornings at 7:30.



Evening alternative will be each Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3:30-6:00.  Students can work on alternative credits and make up hours at that time.  Sign up with Mr. Orchard if you plan to attend. 


From the Counselor:

Seniors ~ FAFSA night will be held at Liberty High School Tuesday night, February 16, at 6:30 p.m. in the High School Library.   Seniors and their parents are invited to attend.  This is a great time to receive help filling out the FAFSA and/or ask questions about financial aid. 

There is also a FAFSA Frenzy at West Plains High School library from 4-6 pm on Thursday, February 18.  This event is held for any high school student. 



Seniors~  Please check the comprehensive diploma list located outside the counselor's office.  If you have any questions please see the counselor ASAP.

New Scholarships are available!  Please stop by the counselor's office to pick up applications.

ALL STUDENTS~ 
The counselor will be staying in the computer lab on Tuesdays until 4:00.  This is a great time to apply for colleges, work on class assignments or sign up for the ACT.
