Liberty Lions Physical Science

Studying the way the world 'works' AND seeking a solution to the imminent problem of sustainability.

Earth Science explores how the Earth came to look the way it does, what these changes in the past mean for our current and future livelihood as a species, and our place in the universe. Where will we find and how will we conserve the resources we need to survive and thrive.

Chemistry explores our current understanding of how compounds and elements interact and provide the 'stuff' & energy of life. Resolving the issue of sustainability for the next generation will take skilled and science literate citizens who can conserve, create, and model alternative resources for all.

AP Physics delves into the Big Ideas of Classical Newtonian Mechanics, The Nature of Waves, and Basic Electromagnetism. Bringing sustainable practices online for the next generation will require innovative engineers, civil servants, leaders, and educators who know how to work collaboratively to solve complex problems.
