The Chapin Middle School Band leadership team has been developed in which a selected group of students meet once a week to develop ideas and projects to promote positive growth of the program. The Chapin Middle School band was selected to be a part of the "Consortium for the Development of Quality Band Literature". The first ever Chapin Band night was held hosting all middle school students at a Chapin High School football game bringing in more than 85 students to participate. Several ensembles have been created including a brass choir and a pep band.
