Word Works/Spelling Quiz on Friday – Students will have to read a sentence and select the correctly spelled word to complete the sentence.

Read-Aloud Book:  Friendship According to Humphrey by Betty G. Birney

Be sure to ask your child about Humphrey and what’s going on in the second book of this series.

Writing- We will learn about TDA (text dependent analysis)

Math - We will review multiplication patterns, repeated addition, and using a Hundreds Chart.  Unit test on Thursday – math homework this week is the same format as the test.

Social Studies - We will finish up learning about the SC Regions and discuss human features (things in the region created by people) and physical features (things found in nature).  Test on Tuesday or Wednesday

Enrichment clubs begin on Tuesday 1:10-2:10.  Students that do not go to an outside club (Art, Gifted, PE, Tiger Cub Cadet, etc.) will be in Mrs. Zeigler’s Care Club.  My special club packs food bags on Tuesday afternoons. Each Friday four students are selected to deliver the bags to classrooms on the red and blue halls.  We do not know who receives the bags, we just know how many to deliver to each classroom.   Mrs. Zeigler’s Church (Swansea First Baptist) sponsors 25 children and works with Harvest Hope Food Bank to provide food for these children on the weekend.  We need plastic grocery bags each week so please send in any extras that you have at home.  Thanks!!
