What do I do?

I am the Math Resource teacher at FMIS.  This year, I reinforce math skills in both traditional 5th grade and 6th grade students, as well as Montessori students with special education services in math.  This year, I see the majority of my students in a small group setting every other day as well as in their usual math classroom twice per week.
All students who come to my small group have a special binder where their IEP math goal is posted and they know that is the target they have to reach. I work with their math teachers to be sure to address the same math skills at a time, while reinforcing basic math skills, not only to support their achievement in their classroom, but also not to overwhelm them.
In my classroom,  we also use technology, such as Ipad apps which support the practice of these skills, as well as an online program, IXL. Recently, the students started using google classroom in my classroom as well and I post notes and assignments related to their current learning topics in math.

My students are encouraged to use IXL.com at home, using their given username and password.
