School Hours

8:00 First Bell
8:10 Tardy Bell
3:25 End of Day Dismissal

Due to the safety & security of our students, there will be no early dismissals after 3:00 without administrative approval.  We cannot guarantee phone messages taken over the phone will reach your student.

You must write a note if your child's transportation is different than normal and have your child take it to the office.  Car pick up is only in front of the school between the sidewalk black poles.

We hope that you understand that these procedures are necessary for PRMS to operate safely and efficiently. Please contact the school if you have any questions or concerns at 755-7400.

Parent Portal Sign-In Update
The Power School parent login system has been updated to allow parents with more than one student enrolled in Lexington Two to have only one login for all their children. A letter has been sent home with students containing directions for  activating the new account.
Each parent/guardian using the portal will be required to create an account even if you have previously accessed the system. Once you have created your account, you may register multiple students and access their information under that account.
Students will continue to use their individual logins to the portal.

2016-2017 Lexington Two School Choice Application Deadline is March 25th
Lexington Two offers parents the option to enroll their children in a specific school based on an identified need. Requests are granted based on mitigating circumstances and the enrollment capacity of the school.
Applications are available at the Office of Student Services at 2325 Platt Springs Road, the District Office at 715 Ninth Street, or any Lexington Two school office.
The deadline for applications and documentation is March 25, 2016. Parents will be notified in writing by May 30, 2016.

Little Free Library
Grace Chapel at 663 Dixiana Road near the State Farmer's Market in West Columbia is now the site of a "Little Free Library."  The idea behind "Little Free Libraries" (littlefreelibrary.org) is ". . . to promote literacy and the love of reading by building free book exchanges, and to build a sense of community as we share skills, creativity and wisdom across generations."  The slogan of the organization is "take a book, leave a book," and that basically describes how it works.  Anyone can drive up to any "LFL" location and take a book or two to read - with no obligation to return the book.  Some, though, might choose to make a donation and leave a book or two.  And books are available for all ages. Congratulations to our Next Steps Program Graduates
Congratulations to PRMS Bank of America Next Steps Program Graduates. They completed a collaborative leadership program designed designed to empower young ladies by assisting them in developing leadership skills and self confidence. The students completed a service learning project putting together gift boxes for troops overseas to make their holidays a little brighter.

Columbia's WLTX News crew visited PRMS on the Monday following the attacks in Paris to see the school's response. They filmed as Pine Ridge students and Honor Guard members explained how students were signing a large banner symbolizing the French flag to show solidarity with the citizens of Paris.
