From Our Administrators

Greetings B-C Grammar No. 1 family!

I am Christopher K. Dickey and I wanted to formally introduce myself as the newest principal of this great school!   I am honored to serve in this position.  I have served successfully in public education for seventeen years as a classroom teacher and administrator at the elementary, middle and high school levels.  I have worked in rural, suburban and inner city settings in both North and South Carolina, most recently in Richland School District Two as an assistant principal at Forest Lake Elementary School.

As you all know, B-C No. 1 has a long reputation for being an outstanding school, with strong ties to the community.  The designation as a Palmetto's Finest School is well deserved.  One of my goals is to build upon the tradition of good work that has been established over the years.  Our theme for the school year is "Bearcats Collaborating for Greatness" because it will require all of our stakeholders to move our school to a higher level of greatness.

Please know that my door is always open, and I look forward to working with you this school year.
We are BCG, "Bearcats Collaborating for Greatness!"
