Johanna Liskowsky-Doak

Greetings!  I am excited to be in my sixth year at Leland & Gray, teaching 7th grade science and S.T.E.M. (science, technology, engineering, and math).  We will have fun making discoveries about science, creating many projects, and experimenting with various labs.

I have an array of background experiences including teaching science to grades K-12 in Hinsdale, NH, being Field Trip Coordinator and Professional Development Facilitator at Shelburne Farms in northern Vermont, teaching environmental education programs in Vermont and Alaska (where I lived for 16 months), and working as a special educator in Bellows Falls, VT.

My educational background includes a Master's in Science from Antioch New England Graduate School and a Bachelor's in Arts from Keene State College.

I grew up in northern Vermont near Jay Peak and despite traveling to many places across the globe, I find myself happiest living in the beautiful Green Mountain State.  I live in Newfane with my husband and our two energetic boys.
