Academic advisors are new to LEHS. Some have had asked, "What is the difference between a counselor and an academic advisor?" We hope to clear up any confusion. In short academic advisors can do anything you are used to the counselors doing when dealing with academic requests, planning, or issues. Counselors have specialized training in helping you with personal/social/emotional issues. So who do you go see in certain situations?
