Legacy's 3rd Annual Coat And Boot Drive

donations to 2 Juneberry Avenue.

Men's and Women's Boots and Coats Only, as well as a few specific items for men--please see below. Sorry no children's clothing, and sorry no regular clothing for men or women. COATS AND BOOTS ONLY. Donations going to The Blue Door Shelter in Newmarket (men and women) and the Interfaith shelter at the Rouge Valley Mennonite Church in Markham (men only).

Accepted Items:
  • Only men's and women's warm NYLON winter coats (OUTDOOR SKI TYPE) 
  • Only men's and women's warm NYLON winter boots (OUTDOOR SPORT TYPE, not fashion boots)
  • Men's medium to large sized hoodies
  • Men's blue jeans sizes 32-28 most needed
  • Men's collarless cotton tee shirts
  • Adult sized backpacks with working zippers

New items:
  • New men's sport socks
  • New Men's boxer style underwear
  • New men's long underwear, medium only

NO KIDS coats, boots, or clothing, and
NO WOMENS clothing. These shelters are not taking these items at this time.
If these items are given, they will be donated to Value Village to sell for their own charities.

Also, if you wish, MIOTC Rouge Valley Mennonite Church is appealing for any volunteers to help in the kitchen for their shelter nights, or setting up, or washing dishes, that would be so appreciated! Contact info is:
