Spelling


Since this is a short week, there will be no spelling assignment for the week of April 23rd.  The students do have a science assignment due on Thursday however.

April 16 - 20


List O:  explain, floated, ghost, holy, holiday, knee, lemon, lie, lying, nails, needle, nobody, oar, palace, penny, regular, repeat, sailor, sentence, surface

Assignments:


Monday:  Write your spelling words in cursive, then in print, and then in cursive again.


Tuesday:  Write a paragraph with at least 10 of your spelling words in it.  Underline the spelling words.


Wednesday:  Put your spelling words in alphabetical order.


Thursday:  Write your spelling words 3 times, each time in a different color.












There will be no spelling words or homework for the week of April 9-13.

Assignments



Monday:  Write your spelling words three times, each time in a different color.


Tuesday:  Put your spelling words in alphabetical order.


Wednesday:  Write a story about a trip to space.  Use 10 of your spelling words in the story.  Underline the spelling words in red.


Thursday:  Write a sentence for each of the 10 words you did not include in your story.
