Fall Football:   There will be an important meeting at lunch on Wednesday for all interested in playing football in the fall.  New players are welcomed to get information on our upcoming Spring Camp.

Fraser Valley Track and Field Championships:   Come out to Rotary Stadium today and tomorrow after school to support our Mouat Track and Field athletes!   This is a qualifying meet for the BC Track & Field Championships and the competition will be fierce!

Jr. Girls BasketballGreat opportunity to practice your skills and play some basketball tonight at the Abbotsford Basketball Association's Mental Health Awareness benefit at Robert Bateman Secondary .   A $5.00 donation gets you in to see an all star game and participate in training camps with all donations going to the Canadian Mental Health Association. Come down and show your support!

Grade 12 Students:  VOTING TAKES PLACE THURSDAY AT LUNCH IN THE CAF - YOUR ONE AND ONLY CHANCE TO VOTE!!!

Letterman Jackets:   
Mouat student-athletes interested in purchasing a Letterman jacket can pick up forms  outside of Mr. Bell's office in the large gym.  Deposits are due May 31st.

Aboriginal Program News

All students planning on going to the rifle range tomorrow with Mrs. Schroeder need to come to brief but mandatory meeting today at lunch.

This month's homecoming feast will be in the gym at lunch on Mon. May 28. It will feature former Aboriginal grads and their post-secondary journeys. Students may bring one friend.

Aboriginal Program News

The MASC meeting will be in Mouat House at lunch today. 

Tomorrow's UBC Forestry Field Day participants need to be at the Aboriginal Program Room at 8 am tomorrow morning. The estimated return time is 3:45 pm. Lunch will be provided.

Thursday's rifle marksmanship field trip participants need to return a high risk form before Thur. See Mrs. Schroeder for details.

NIGHT TO REMEMBER - MAY 18th:  Grads YOU MUST purchase your tickets by May 17th - tickets will NOT be available at the door!   Ride the Mechanical Bull, win prices and have fun!   Waiver forms for the Mechanical Bull ride are available for pick up from the office.

MORE Grad Info  One month until the grad ceremony!   In order to receive your cap & gown the week of June 7 you must have paid all of your school and grad fees, completed your Grad Transitions, returned all library books, textbooks, and school uniforms.  If any of these items are outstanding, your grad gown will NOT be distributed.  Don’t miss out on this once in a lifetime experience!  Avoid the huge lineups of grad week by taking care of your debts now either online or at the office during lunch or after school!

Students interested in summer school this year can pick up the information brochure and counsellor referral form from the counselling centre.

Boundaries During Lunch:  Reminder to students that the grass field and first turf field are the only fields open for use during lunch.   All other turf fields AND the townhouse complex are off limits to students.

Krispie Kreme doughnut   Will be for sale during lunch in the cafeteria for $1.00.   Help support the Mouat Dance team!

Mental Health Awareness Week:  Tomorrow during flex there will be a guest speaker in the large gym sharing her story about the struggles of being diagnosed bipolar.   Everyone welcome!

Guitar club:  Friday after school from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the band room.  Please do not come early as Mr. Matty will be there at 3:00 precisely!

Grad Info:   Prom guest approval forms are in the office for pick up but must be returned by May 18th..    Also in the office are waiver forms for the "Night to Remember" mechanical bull ride - waivers must be returned by May 16th. 

Mental Health Awareness Week

    Everyone is welcome to join us in the small gym for quiet meditation today during lunch.   

Bake Sale:   In the cafeteria today at lunch - proceeds to the Abbotsford Food Bank.

Aboriginal Program News:  There will be a meeting at lunch for all students going on the rifle marksmanship field trip in the Aboriginal Program Room 149A.

Mental Health Awareness Week:  Photo wall in the cafeteria at lunch today - take a picture with your friends and share it on instagram with hashtag "start the conversation"

The Abbotsford Youth Commission is hosting a 3 on 3 basketball tournament on Wednesday, May 2nd from 6:00-10:00pm at Abby Sr. The tournament is open to youth aged 12-18 and has a maximum of 12 teams so be sure to come early and register your team.

The student who lost a ball on the roof, see the custodian Jessica in the caf at lunch.

 Mental Health Awareness Week:  This week is Mental Health Awareness week - join in the activities to promote mental wellness!

Physics 11 Students:   Reminder to pick up your permission forms from Room 209 for the May 3rd field trip.

Track and Field AthletesThe Upper Fraser Valley Championships are this Wednesday and Thursday.  Please see your emails for important sign up information.  EVERYONE IS EXPECTED TO PARTICIPATE and EVERYONE is expected at practice today and tomorrow to prepare!!  There will be a PIZZA lunch today for all Track and Field Athletes in the small gym to discuss the details.

Today is our feast! Just follow your nose to Mouat House were we will be having a BBQ at lunch today. Aboriginal students can bring a friend and have a burger. Vegetarian burgers will also be available.
