Welcome to the VRHS National Honor Society Website!

While NHS student membership is the true mark of academic achievement, it goes far beyond a report card. All student members must also reflect the program’s respective pillars to be inducted—ideals such as scholarship, service, leadership, and character—and they must continue demonstrating these pillars within their community throughout their membership.

DUES

JUNIORS - $19.23 (+.65 webstore fee) & a large bag of candy

SENIORS - $40.13   (+1.38 webstore fee) & a large bag of candy. 

It covers t-shirt, fees and for SENIORS, graduation stole.

Pay online for dues in the school store (make sure to purchase under the correct heading of JUNIOR or SENIOR) and BRING candy to the Oct 8th meeting

Oct  14th: Meeting - Candy for trunk or treat due!

Nov 13th: Meeting- Jr. Rep elections! Make sure to have your dues payed!

Dec 16th:  Meeting Fall hours are due!  

Dec 17th - Fall Service Hours Due 

Jan 20th: Meeting

Feb 10th: Meeting NHS Officer election applications announced!

Feb 11th: New toy/stuffed animal donation due

March 10th: Meeting  -NHS officer elections for next year!

April 14th: Meeting - Spring hours due

May 20th and 21st -Senior Stole Pickup

May 30th: Graduation!

• Pay dues

• Complete 1 chapter project per semester (see chapter options under service doc tab)- Doc paperwork here as well

• Complete ten individual service hours per semester  (doc paper work and upload under Service tab)

• Attend all meetings

• Maintain a 4.5 GPA

• Maintain good discipline
