About the Course
This course will cover the history and geography of the world beginning with early civilizations and ending with the issues that we face today.  During the first semester, we will trace the development of civilizations from the largely isolated prehistoric man through the end of the Middle Ages.  During the second semester, will look at how civilizations become more interconnected through exploration, trade, and global conflicts.   Students can expect to make connections from the past to understand present world events and make predictions about the future.
