Bio for Ms. Grande

Hi! My name is Ms. Alannah Grande (pronounced Grandy), and I'm so excited to be teaching 7th grade On-Level and Pre-AP English on team 7-3 here at CPMS! Something interesting to note about me is I am a product of Leander ISD, and I actually attended school here at CPMS. I graduated from CPHS in 2003, and from Texas State University in 2006. Coming back to teach in LISD, let alone a school where I attended, feels like "coming full circle" in terms of an educational experience.

I believe that teaching is the best way to learn; teachers are students, too, and we are all continuously improving here in this district! I have two awesome boys named Sirius and William (both in a local LISD school) who keep me busy and happy! Aside from my passion for teaching, I love spending time hanging out with my family, drawing and creating things with my hands, watching things grow, learning, reading, amateur photography, being an amateur Linux (my operating system of choice) dabbler, listening to music, being outside, and learning!

This is my fifth year teaching in this district, and I cannot wait to get started this 2016-2017 school year! Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. Let's have a wonderful year, Leopards!
