How To Write An Abstract
*This year, the science department is partnering with Language Arts to write abstracts. These abstracts will be used for expository writings and will be related to the unit of study during the course of science.
*Tutorials are available every Monday and Wednesday:

If you have a challenge and cannot participate in after school tutorials, please don't hesitate to contact me via phone or email, and I will gladly provide a lunch pass. Lunch tutorials are offered from 12:15-12:45. If there is a time not listed, please let me know and I will accommodate you with a special time.

-Test/Quiz corrections can be made within five days of the original testing date, and will replace the lower of the two grades. After the five day window has passed, the test/quiz grade will remain as is. Unit Assessment cannot be retaken, as they are used for improvement purposes.
-Homework is not given on a daily basis (homework is a 0% category in LISD Science Department). Homework will be assigned when classwork has not been completed.
***Keeping up with and completing your classwork/homework is important for practicing the academic skill. Classwork/homework will be a vital part to your academic success now and in the future.
