Welcome to my GoogleSite! I'm thrilled your student is going to be part of one of my courses.

Cedar Park High School has two of the best broadcast and graphic design programs in Texas, and a lot of that is in thanks to passionate students.

My main goal with both our broadcast and graphics classes is to offer a real world experience and perspective.

This will be my first year teaching at CPHS and I could not be happier to be a Timberwolf.

I have worked in both news and public relations. For three years I worked at KXXV-TV, ABC’s Waco affiliate, first as an intern and then a reporter. Most recently I served as the station’s Digital Content Manager, leading the charge on pushing the staff into a “digital first” mindset.

As a graduate from Baylor University, I participated in the journalism school’s New York study abroad program. My time in the city was spent interning with CBS and doing karaoke in Queens.

During my time at Baylor I also interned with Midway ISD’s communication office and with Baylor University's Institutional Events department. In that role, I was part of planning events surrounding the grand opening of McLane Stadium.

Outside of school, I'm in my sixth year working as a leader with my church’s high school youth group. It was in that role I grew a passion for working with high school students . My other interests include politics, grilling and hiking.
