Hi, my name is Lorraine Kyle and I have been teaching chemistry since 1990. I have been teaching in the Leander Independent School District since 1995.
I graduated from Texas A&M University with two undergraduate degrees; a BA in Modern Languages with a minor in chemistry and a BS in Curriculum and Instruction. In 2009 I earned a Masters Degree in Teacher Leadership from Lamar University. Although it may seem strange that someone with a degree in modern languages is teaching chemistry, I actually took 29 undergraduate hours in chemistry and 9 graduate hours related to chemistry.
I am the sponsor for the UIL Science and Mathematics Teams. I am always looking for new members. Please see me if you are interested in participating in UIL Science and/or Mathematics. Practices will begin in October during Ranger Time. They will be held on Tuesdays (Science) and Thursdays (Mathematics).
The best way to contact me is by email. My email address is email@example.com.
Should you need to contact me by phone, the school phone number is 570-1800. Please ask to be connected to my room.
Although I am usually available before and after school for tutorials, please see my tutorial calendar to confirm my availability.
