About Me

This is my second year at Westside Elementary.  My name is Lisa Brill and I have been teaching for over 17 years.  I am a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT) through the Academic Language Therapy Association (ALTA).  I did my training to become a dyslexia therapist through the Rawson Saunders Training Institute. My training is specific to working with dyslexic students in Basic Language Skills (BLS) and REWARDS.  I was told when I took the training that I would change lives. It truly is an amazing program that gives students confidence to realize their abilities and the gift of dyslexia.  I am passionate about empowering students to realize they can overcome any obstacles.   I've had the opportunity to work with students from ages ranging from five to fifty.  My biggest joy is seeing students overcome challenges and realize their full potential.
