About Me

Hello and welcome!

My name is Christa Martinez and I am so excited to be teaching 8th Grade Math and Algebra I at Stiles Middle School! This is my eleventh year teaching middle school math and my fifth year here at Stiles Middle School.

I was born and raised in northeast Ohio in a small town outside of Cleveland. After high school I attend Brigham Young University in Utah and graduated with a degree in Health Education. I added on a math certification when I found there was a great need for math teachers. I absolutely love teaching math!

I am married and have two children who attend Rouse High School. We also have a dog named Lucky. My family loves to travel together and enjoy discovering fun, new places. I enjoy reading, playing and watching sports (especially Ohio State Football...GO BUCKEYES!), all things Disney, and Harry Potter!
