Welcome to Mr. Blanscet's QUEST Studies website.
Prepare to Soar!
Prepare to Soar!
My name is Kyle Blanscet, and I teach 6th grade QUEST ELA, 7th grade QUEST Studies, and 8th grade QUEST Studies. This is my 27th year in public education. Five years of job experience away from public education still involved education/training, but it also added an extensive level of management and business skills.

Education runs in my family. My parents were both educators, and my father ended his working career as a principal. Two of my siblings are also certified teachers. I've been fortunate to be recognized by local, state, and national organizations, both public and private, for my teaching abilities, and it is so nice to be in a position which allows me the opportunity to share those abilities and experiences with some of the best and brightest students that LISD has to offer. I'm extremely honored and blessed to be a QUEST Studies teacher at RBMS.

In addition to my "kids" at school, I also have two children of my own--my daughter graduated from UT with a degree in music education and is now an assistant band director at Klein High School. My son is a sophomore at UT majoring in mechanical engineering. My wife is an outstanding doctor of veterinary medicine and my best friend.
They are my heroes.

"If a child is to keep alive his inborn sense of wonder, he needs the companionship of at least one adult who can share it, rediscovering with him the joy, excitement, and mystery of the world we live in."
~Rachel Carlson, The Sense of Wonder, 1965
