Meet the Teachers

    Jennifer Moran received her bachelor's degree in Education, majoring in Kinesiology, at Texas A&M University. She is certified as a Generalist (Grades Early Childhood-4th grade) as well as in physical education (Grades Early Childhood-12th grade). This is her eleventh year in Leander ISD and although she is an Aggie, she is very excited to live in Longhorn Country!

Kelly Brode graduated from Southwest Texas State University in 2002 with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.  She received her Masters degree in Elementary Education from Texas State University in 2004.  She taught first grade for three years at Tobias Elementary in Kyle and eleven years at Laura Welch Bush Elementary in LISD.  This will be her first year at Reagan Elementary and she is looking forward to the upcoming school year! 

    Rhonda Steczkowski graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a degree in Elementary Education, with specializations in Kindergarten and Reading. She is also certified in ESL. Mrs. Steczkowski taught one year in Plano ISD. This will be her 16th year in Leander ISD. She has taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 2nd grade.

Barbara Wilm earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Education and American Studies at Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, Illinois in 2001. After completing her student teaching in Chicago, she moved to San Antonio in June of 2002. She taught 3rd Grade in Northside ISD for eleven years. Five years ago, she moved to Austin, and hasn't looked back. She is excited to begin her 5th year here at Reagan Elementary!​

Jennifer Morgan has been teaching since 2005! She taught 1st grade for 7 years along with teaching Kindergarten, 2nd grade, and Gifted and Talented. After participating in a Study Abroad program in New Zealand, Jennifer graduated from Texas State University in 2004 with a degree in Elementary Education. In 2008, she earned her Master's Degree in Educational Administration from Concordia University in Austin. Teaching is her passion! She loves being a Reagan Ray!

    Deanna Perkins has been teaching since 2005. She graduated from Southwest Texas (it was not yet Texas State at the time) with a degree in Communications  and a minor in Spanish. Speaking of Spanish, Deanna's first language was Spanish as her mom is Cuban and her dad is Puerto Rican. After she graduated college in 2002 and worked as a caseworker for Child Protective Services, she decided that she wanted to get her teaching degree. She went through alternative certification with Region 13 and taught her first class in 2005 as a 3rd grade bilingual teacher. She stayed a 3rd grade teacher for 3 years and the rest of the time has been spent teaching 2nd grade. She loves working in Leander ISD and loves being a Reagan Ray!
