Summary of Study
In  2016-2017, the Education Committee studied charter schools located in the Fresno Unified School District. The study examines critical areas and includes observations and data about the following:

Structure, Numbers,  Demographics, Curriculum, Achievement, Success Markers, Finances, Trends

Summary concerns -Insufficient transparency and accountability, significantly low achievement in a number of instances, incomplete financial data, and state regulations  not uniformly enforced.
