6th Grade science classes are in need of glue sticks.  Any donations will be greatly appreciated.

6th Grade Science
Students in middle school science are provided with a foundation to be successful in high school science courses.  Middle school science provide a range of content in life, earth, and physical sciences.  Students in sixth grade will study the following units:
  • Earth's Weather and Climate
  • Diversity of Life - Classification and Animals
  • Diversity of Life - Protists, Fungi, and Plants
  • Energy Transfer and Conservation
Students will also engage in scientific and engineering practices as a means to learn about the specific topics studied in 6th grade.

6th Grade Social Studies
Social studies in grade six develops and enhances the student’s understanding of history through the study of people and events from earliest man to the era of European exploration. This course focuses on the significance of geography, economics, and government in the development of the human story, including the conflicts and accomplishments of the people and their roles in developing the social, economic, and political structures of the major civilizations.
