I am so excited to have the opportunity to teach your child this year and I look forward to meeting you. We are gearing up for a fantastic 2018-2019 school year. We have many fun and exciting learning opportunities planned for our students this year, and I can't wait to get started. It is my hope that we can work together as a team to help your child reach their maximum potential. I believe the partnership between home and school plays a crucial role in a child's success. About Me....

This is my 14th year working in special education at North Elementary. I am a graduate of Grand Canyon University with a BS Degree in Special Education and Elementary Education, and I have a Masters Degree in Autism Spectrum Disorder
I have been married for 24 years to George McDow and we have been blessed with two wonderful daughters, Anslee and Maggie. We live on a farm in Buford and have lots of animals.
I am dedicated to ensuring that ALL students in my class have an exciting and successful school year. I will communicate regularly with you about your child's education through a daily communication folder, monthly classroom newletters, and phone calls. I encourage you to call, write, or email me anytime as well. I have three wonderful assistants this year to help with your child's educational journey; Mrs. Mary Wooldridge, Mrs. Jacqueline Coleman, and Mrs. Monita Green.
