The School Based Health Center (SBHC) is staffed with a licensed medical provider and  licensed mental health counselor who provide comprehensive physical, mental, and preventive health services including physical exams, treatment of minor injury and illness, lab tests, immunizations and mental health counseling. The SBHC staff will coordinate with family medical care providers to provide the most effective and coordinated care.

Mayfield Staff coordinating with Ben Archer: 

Shawna Bailey Ms. Bailey is a registered nurse and received my BSN from New Mexico State University .  She has been a school nurse for eight years. This is her fourth year at Mayfield High School.

Dolores Ortiz - Ms. Ortiz is a health assistant and works with the school nurse. She has been with LCPS for twenty years. She has been a health assistant for nine years, and has worked at Mayfield High School all of those nine years.
