Help raise funds for our school.

VOLUNTEERS

Prior to any university student or volunteer (including parents) being allowed to work with any students within the Las Cruces Public Schools, the following steps must occur:

1. The individual must bring the results of his/her tuberculosis test with a physician's signature to the LCPS Human Resources Office.

2. The Department of Human Resources will check the form and if the results of the test indicate he/she is free from tuberculosis in a communicable form, that person will be given a statement to that effect.

3. Background checks must be done through our Department of Human Resources. See front office for information.

4. The individual is to take this statement to the school principal prior to being allowed to have contact with students.

5. The individual must bring the results of his/her tuberculosis test with a physician's signature to the LCPS Human Resources Office.



Parent Teacher Organization

The purpose of the Highland Elementary PTO is to involve the parents, grandparents, and the community in the education of their children. This involves raising money to help provide extra educational tools and opportunities that would otherwise not be available to our students. The benefits our children receive come from your involvement. Please join the PTO. Discover how much you can learn and how fulfilling it can be for you to be involved. Anyone interested can sign up at the office or contact one of the officers.
