From Our Staff
Welcome to Hermosa Heights Elementary
Bells ring at 7:55 A.M.
We bid a fond farewell to long time educator Dr. Gallegos of NMSU as he retires. He mentored our staff, interns, and most importantly of all, our students for fifteen years. We will miss you.
As a school wide Title 1 school we want you to know that all our programs are working with your children. Hermosa Heights is using New Mexico Common Core standards to improve numeracy and literary skills.
In partnership with families and community, we teach today to prepare students for a better tomorrow.

In The Garden News
Lowes and Home Depot donate six different kinds of evergreen trees for the students to study in computer lab. They are living trees in pots. As the students research the trees, six lucky students will get to take home a tree to plant.
Time to install green houses for our winter crops and vertical gardening.
If you would like to help get our garden going please contact Kelly Polanco.
