Freedom High School will be hosting the 21st VHSL Ken Tilley Student Leaders Conference on April 28 & 29, 2017. The VHSL Student Leadership Conference is an annual conference where approximately 900-1,200 student leaders and their faculty sponsors from across the commonwealth, unite to inspire and share ideas. The goal of conference is to motivate student leaders to go back to their schools energized to make a difference at their home schools. It is an amazing conference with amazing students – the positive energy is both contagious and invigorating.

The theme for the 2017 VHSL Student Leadership Conference is “Undefined Possibilities”. We hope to prepare student leaders from across Virginia to go back to their schools and implement programs that will impact ALL students, regardless of their race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation/identification, and/or disability. No one should be defined and all of us are unique. As leaders, we should practice and celebrate this philosophy.
