1. There are two ways to find posts to comment on. First, you can find the latest posts on our site by looking at your dashboard's default page. If you don't see the posts in your dashboard, click "Dashboard" or "Reader."
In your dashboard's reader, our sites' posts are arranged in chronological order with the newest posts at the top.
Scroll through the latest posts. As you go down, you go back in time. If a post interests you, click "Read More."
2. The entire post appears. If you'd like to comment, fill in the "Add comment" field in the lower right corner.
Be sure to follow the ten commandments of commenting and to adhere to any minimum words in the commenting assignment.
3. Once you've written and proofed your comment, drag your mouse over it and copy it into your computer's memory. This is a protection in case something goes wrong.
Then click the blue "Post Comment" button in the lower right corner.
4. Your comment appears with the post's other comments in the column to the right of the post.
If your comment doesn't show up, please send a remind.com notice to Mr. Stephens. Include your name and the name of the blog you were commenting on.
5. The second way to find posts and to comment on them is by author instead of by chronology. To find posts by author, go to any page on our site. All pages have a list of writers by first name in alphabetical order.
Going to "My Sites," "The Hive," and "Visit Site" will do.
6. Find an author whose writing you'd like to check out, and click his or her name.
7. If you'd like to comment on a post, click the post's title or click the comment link beneath the post. If the theme has a "Read more" button, you can click that, too.
8. Any of those three clicks will reveal a comment field beneath the post.
Type your comment, proof it, and click "Post Comment." You should see it appear above the field you typed it in.
9. And voila! If your comment doesn't show up, please send a remind.com notice to Mr. Stephens. Include your name and the name of the blog you were commenting on.
