MAY 20, 2019 ANNOUNCEMENTS

ATTN STUDENTS & STAFF:  

All books and materials checked out from the library need to be returned by Thursday, May 23.


There are still a few people who need to pick up the yearbooks they ordered. You may do that during the third block time slot this week in the pub lab and books can be purchased at that time as well. Additionally, the yearbook staff is offering back issues at a discounted rate this week and next week! Back issues are $25!


The library will be hosting its first ever Read-a-thon on Wednesday, May 22.  Stop by the library for more information.


Please be sure to clean out your locker, again please make sure that your locker is cleaned out by Wednesday, May 22.  Thank you!


ATTN STUDENTS SIGNED UP TO TAKE ECON 1 & PERSONAL FINANCE ONLINE THIS SUMMER:

There will be a mandatory meeting this Thursday, May 23 at 8:30 am in the Alan Jackson Theatre


ATTN UNDERCLASSMEN:

If you are interested in being part of  the Lion's Pride Club next year, please pick up an application in room 251, in front of the library or in the cafeteria asap.  Please return forms to Mrs. Wenger or Ms. Thorpe by Wednesday, May 22nd


MR. DOWNEY’S  ANNOUNCEMENTS

ATTN SPRING ATHLETES:

Spring Athletes... The Spring Athletics Banquet will be held here at the high school is this Wednesday May 22 at 6PM. Please make sure you RSVP with Ms. Manrique in the Athletics Office ASAP.

 

This is a reminder that there is NO MORE charging in the cafeteria. All negative balances should be paid by the end of the school year.


Good luck to the following sports team in actions today:

Tennis is in Regional Play at Eastern View

Baseball is in Regional Play and will be hosting King George tonight with a game start time of 6:30

Boys Soccier is also in Regional Play at Dinwiddie


Students who are testing today whether it be AP testing, SOLs or Exams, I know you are going to take your time and do your best.   We are all very proud of you and know you are well prepared for the test. Those that are not testing today please be respectful to those that are testing and stay quiet in the hallways between all class periods.
