The library needs some gently-used books for our "Wish Upon A Book". Please bring donations of any high-school appropriate books to the library by November 30.

Did you sign up for the December 1st SAT? If you would like some help studying, Ms. Duke is hosting prep sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6-8 in the library. Pizza will be provided when students meet in the cafeteria at 6. Mrs. Chapman and Ms. LeMay, from the Counseling Department, will be hosting prep sessions during Roar Block every Monday through Thursday through November 29th in room 256-the library computer lab.



The sports expectation meeting will be held tonight at 6:15 in the cafeteria.  Players and at least one parent are expected to attend.



Today is the first day of Ms. Tembe’s scavenger hunt.  Pick one up from her office today - get 7 out of 10 right, and you’ll be entered to win prizes!

Seniors, if you want to fill out your FAFSA to get money for college, sign up with Ms. Tembe to come to FAFSA Day on Nov 15th in the library!"

Students please don’t forget to turn in those RSVP’s for the Hidden in Plain Sight presentation to your second block teacher.  Remember the 2nd block class that has the most parents attend this presentation will win a trip to Roma’s for lunch.

On Thursday and Friday, LCHS Chorus hosted auditions for All-District Chorus, with over 350 students coming here to LCHS to audition.  33 LCHS Chorus students auditioned for spots in the Chorus, and we are so excited to announce that 27 students were selected! 18 of those students scored in the top 15 of their voice part, qualifying them to audition for All-State Chorus.  Please join me in congratulating these students, who will represent Louisa at the 2019 District Chorus in February: (names in bold)Carly Dulaney; Trinity MacDonald;Juliya Gortman; Kaylee Anderson; Hailey Brooks; Dana Bednarsky; Christtany Harler; MAddy McGuire; Daniel Dixon. Congratulations to our Varsity football team on their win over Huguenot on Friday.  The Lions will be back in action here in the jungle on Friday against Eastern View. You don’t want to miss the Battle of the undefeated so plan to be here on Friday night at 7:30 with tickets being $8.00.  As always a big thank you to the cheerleaders, band, turf crew and cannon crew for their hard work and dedication to making Friday Nights in the Jungle so special.
