The 2013 IGS British Branch meeting (#igsbb13) was hosted by the Department of Geography in the School of Social, Political and Geographical sciences, Loughborough University on 4th-5th September. We hope that all who attended had a productive and enjoyable two days.
Since we believe that good meetings have legacies - of ideas, inspiration, collaboration and friendship - we'll continue to maintain these pages with new material from the meeting.
As with previous annual meetings, the event comprised an informal two days of oral and poster presentations on a wide range of snow and ice research. Staff in universities and other research centres, postgraduate students and international colleagues visiting the UK were amongst the delegates from seven countries and three continents. The meeting included the IGS British Branch's annual dinner, a Polar Film Festival outreach event, and a UK Polar Network mentor panel.

Thanks to everyone who came to Loughborough, and for all your contributions; we appreciate it.
