The RNC is a group of about 30 physicists carrying out experimental research in Nuclear Physics, focusing on aspects of Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD). We collaborate on large, international experiments at two of the world's leading collider accelerator facilities: the STAR experiment at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) at Brookhaven National Laboratory in New York, and the ALICE experiment at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN, in Geneva, Switzerland.
